Caravan & RV Hardware

If you’re repairing, upgrading or building a caravan, camper or RV, having the right hardware makes the job quicker and the finish better. Our Caravan & RV Hardware range covers the everyday parts that get used constantly — from doors and hatches through to storage, fit-outs and external fittings.

In this category you’ll find hinges, latches and catches, locks, handles, fasteners, shackles/tie-down gear, and wheel-related hardware. Whether you’re replacing a worn latch that won’t stay closed, upgrading to a more secure lock, or fitting new handles and hinges during a renovation, the goal is the same: parts that fit properly, last longer, and are easy to install.

Before you buy, it’s worth taking a couple of quick measurements. For hinges and latches, check hole spacing, overall size, and whether you need a left/right orientation. For locks and handles, note the cut-out size (if replacing), door thickness, and whether you want keyed options. For fasteners, match the thread type, diameter and length, and choose materials suited to caravans — especially if you’re near the coast where corrosion is more likely.

We ship Australia-wide and focus on parts that suit real caravan/camper use — vibration, dust, weather and frequent opening/closing. If you’re unsure what you need, start with the job (door, hatch, storage or mounting) and compare measurements — a few millimetres can make all the difference.

Measure hole spacing, overall length, leaf width, and whether it’s left/right handed. If it’s replacing an old hinge, match the existing mounting holes first to avoid drilling new ones.
Many do, but not all. Key measurements are the cut-out size (if it’s a handle/lock set), door thickness, and the backset (distance from the door edge to the spindle/lock centre). If you’re unsure, compare your existing lock measurements to the product specs.
A latch usually has a moving mechanism that holds shut (often with a striker). A catch is the receiving/holding part. Clasps are often surface-mount pull-down or toggle styles used on boxes and access doors.
Use fasteners that suit vibration and weather exposure. For exterior fittings, corrosion-resistant options are best (especially near the coast). Match thread type and length to the original, and use washers/nyloc nuts where vibration could loosen standard nuts.
Caravan doors, hatches and frames vary between brands and model years. Even a few millimetres difference in hole spacing, cut-outs or thickness can stop parts fitting properly — so measuring first helps avoid returns and rework.
